Super tech oil filter quality

Have been an OE filter user, just recently I bought a couple of these Super Tech filters.
In comparison the supertech look very well made internally and on the inlet flow area... pictures shown below.

I should say I do short oil intervals because of my short local around town driving which seems to pollute the oil fairly quickly.
These are very low cost filters at $3.50 a piece.
I'm not looking for an extended oil service filter nor am I even looking for an extended oil service oil.
Just looking here to see if anyone has used these before and what their thoughts are.. thank you

I just purchased a few to run on my Jeep. I will be doing 3-4k OCIs and they seem fine for that service.

Thanks, I was more or less wondering about the oil flow in comparison to the factory OE Denso filter to the supertech.
I did take a flashlight and really look inside the super tech and it looks built very well and a sturdy type of element along with the check valve but some have mentioned that they are not silicone type. Not even sure if that is relative anymore from the previous posts.

And I'm not going to lose sleep over this I spend more in a cup of coffee,!

Super tech are a solid Made in USA choice. I would use them more often but they quit making the ST7317 for some reason, and don't have them for my 8.1L Chevy either.

If they’re E-core they will most likely outflow the OE filters

Favorite Champ model number. I cut one open too. Yes, the ruffles are present which is disappointing but for $3xx hard to pass up for my riding mower.

Ecore w/metal endcaps. Love these filters. Excellent quality for $3 filter. They are small. Came off my 1991 John Deere 260 GT 4.9 hours. I had to open up the engine again so short run on this filter.

I'd run that before an orange can, looks like a much higher quality filter.

The OE ones are about the same price if you buy them from a Southeast Toyota dealership during one of their web promos.

I've used the smaller recommended replacement for the ST7317 oil filter, which is the ST6607 in my vehicles. No issues to report.

Not unusual for lowest tier filter option like ST to consolidate to smallest application that will work, here 6607. Saves shelf space while still offering a usable option.

The Supertech is made by Champ Labs and can suffer from some leaf spring stamping problems. I’d prefer the OEM out of these two. Just my opinion.

The PH 4967 gives the silicone adbv and is like $4. The construction inside looks the same but the Fram maybe has better efficiency.
It also holds the dinkiest filter element I have ever seen, downsized the can and downsized the element in the can. Personally I wouldn’t use it on a car.

I see by the picture next to the N1 it is the new small size. The N1 has far more media.
Seeing yet more, the US content is down to 75% now. They are buying materials from overseas and likely it means one place.
