While researching Lubro Moly, (MoS2) and how it works, I came across this product. Similar to Lubro Moly, but is half the price

Just a gimmick. Don't spend a penny...in fact I wouldn't put that stuff in my engine if it were free. Everything you need is in a good quality oil.

I would just take the extra 5 dollars per "dose" you would spend on that and just put it towards a higher quality oil to begin with.

Yeah... the LubroMoly has it sitting at the bottom of some thin oil.. SOOO much more complex.

Looks like Moly in Motor Oil... those are normal motor oil adds.

What's with 13ppm IRON!?!? I always thought that was BAD.
That's very high Silicon too... That's always setting off Red Flags at PQI... So Lubro Moly adds Boron, Iron, Silicon and Black Moly powder...

Boron, is a normal additive in some oils.. no magic there.

Seeing the VOA I'm thinking its worse than I did before.

As a test, I got a can of lubro moly.
Also got a bottle of Castrol Ow-30 european formula.
Got a clean 16oz plastic bottle.
Filled the bottle 2/3 with castrol, and the remaining 1/3 with lubro moly and shook it up.
it has been 24 hrs now and the lubro moly is still suspended in the oil. I do not see any settling at the bottom.

It will be quite while before LM settles out, and if it were in your engine and did settle out, starting it up and running it would put it back in suspension. If you drive your vehicle more than once every week or two, or even a bit more the product settling out is not a concern.

I did the same test in a clear bottle, for a month, very very little in the bottom and with slight swirling of the bottle it was back in suspension.

But the "Good" stuff comes from Germany... yeah, only USA and China make snake oil products... The Europeans wouldn't every want to sell us a junk product of any sort. History proves this..
