Super Bowl MVP

I thought about their kicker getting the MVP award, but had it not been for Kenneth Walker III's continual moving down the field, the outcome may have been different. He was fun to watch, as I don't remember a RB who literally stopped to read the field, then exploded through openings.

The entire defense could have been chosen, also. The kicker did his job nicely last night.

The net yardage was nothing like we have seen from other backs - but as you point out - you have to get into “shoe range” - and a big part of that is key first down resets …

I successfully made it to Superbowl day before I learned who was playing in it! And, I only learned because I asked someone!
My wife and I were the same way. We thought about going to a sports bar to watch the game, but reactivated YouTube TV for a month. I'll cancel it again now that the game is over.

I must say, the game wasn't worth the $100 spent for a month of YT TV.

Walker just being Walker all this season. Not sure worthy of MVP
Meyers just being Meyers all this season. Not sure worthy of MVP
Darnold just being Darnold all these playoffs. MAYBE worthy of MVP. He did turn it up a couple notches - I was a huge skeptic about his play. It's not like NE has lousy D and bad pass rush (well 3-4 man rush, and finally Seattle fielded a strong O line). His eluding was amazing and worth watching.
Seattle defense absolutely should have the MVP. We were looking at a shut out for most of the game and they even scored. I know MVP is a single person but..........and another funny moment was after one of the interceptions, announcer says: "I got nothing..."

Honorary mention: Dickson punting. That was a show as well.

Even though we live in Arizona, my wife and I have no choice but to be Seahawks fans since we were both born in Seattle, and lived in Western Washington until we were 58. So, the game was satisfying, but life would have gone on if the Patriots had won.

I thought the MVP was clearly Kenneth Walker III. I was very impressed by the way he read the defense. BTW, that was the only football game we watched this season. We did not watch the half time show.

#98 sacked the Patriots QB with one hand while the other hand was toying with their offensive lineman. Pretty strong dude. MVP the whole team lol
