I hope that was you been sarcastic. When I was an E6 making sea pay and Sub pay with no kids and a wife with her masters degree, we were rolling in the cash. Plus LARGE reenlistment bonuses for those of use who served on Submarines.


Same here...when I was an E5 as a flight engineer, I was also getting flight pay, hazardous duty pay, tax free exemptions, and a ton of per diem, I was rolling in the dough...
