Friend of mine needs to move a '66 Mustang about 20 miles on surface streets in So Cal. Car has the complete front suspension removed as well as the engine and trans are out.
1- Are the normal run of the mill tow companies equipped to handle special requests? I know they can if car is damaged from a traffic accident.
2- Will we have to buy/build a special dolley to bolt to the existing suspension mounting holes, etc? Then purchase 2-4 wheels from a place such as Harbor Freight or a salvage outlet.
3- Will one of those single axle dolleys from U-Haul work, as long as the car is strapped down from shifting? (Least favorite because of risk of damage or accident)
