Is it possible to have a section, that only the owner and the mods can change, with ALL KNOWN specs posted, word for word...maybe Gas, Diesel, ATF, MTL's and greases broken out....

So we can easily all read the same thing without searching around....

Pablo,

Here is the best I've found on the web so far.
http://www.ethyl.com/nav/default.asp?sec=products&page=la

Click on "Lube Specs PDF Hanbook" at the bottom left of the page. It's worth saving the pdf file, since things come and go on the web.

The section titled "Crankcase" has the best selection of oil related specs. The "Viscosity" section is a good referance too.

I doubt that it has the detail you are looking for, but it does cover most of the specs at the top level, which is all you normally get to see.

This could be done if we had a member willing to do the digging. The only problem is the specs are only good for 24 hours after they are posted, or have inaccuracies as listed by the Companies. I would be more than happy to have BITOG host that forum if we can find a dedicated member with the time to maintain it.

This is a small example of a members hard work and is valuable for a good look at VOA's on some oils: http://home.earthlink.net/~memphis3/boatoilsweb.htm

I guess what we need now is a volunteer!

Somebody willing to logically compile and update specs (every 24 hours

)....?? Please.

Seriously, anyone? You would be ONE SERIOUS hero. This would be a HUGE service for BiTOG. Many arguments would be stifled, many more discussions would be kept factual.

PS Thanks for the links.
