Suggestion for tires

I just bought some Pirelli P7 AS3 plus for my Nissan with 19" wheels. Minus smoking a tire on an Indiana pothole in the 1st 500 miles and having to get it replaced. They're great tires. $795 out the door
 
I might go with all-season since I’ll be driving on either I-80 or I-40. Falken has better summer compound and does pretty well in light snow due to its proprietary 3D Canyon groves and sipes design. Again, Defender 2 is a big winner on tread longevity and MPG.
FYI Defender 2's are good.......... but....... Highway mpg dropped 10 to 15% vs., the LRR Michelin oems on my 17 Camry. City mpg dropped 0 to -5%. ( Defenders coast better then the LRR.) .02
 
Let me know. I have Sentury Touring all-season (ideal for commute).
If you can swing the little higher price the Michelin Defender 2, they will be the best choice BY FAR. However, be sure to have a 4-wheel alignment done at a reputable shop plus have them check out your suspension-ball joints- tie rods and have all that checked for excessive wear and possible replacement if needed first. It would not be smart to put those quality Michelins (or any new tires) on if the alignment and suspension components are out of whack!
 
You really need to watch the videos so you can gain some insight. The defender 2, very good tire overall BUT was lacking some in wet weather traction and rode stiffer than much of the competition. I forget what noise was.

The tires on my Accord are discontinued, Pirelli P7 AS+2, I bought for the noise, handling, wear. They have lived up to that. Totally different than than the previous Goodyear WeatherReady which were some of loudest tires I ever had.

You asked for 3 choices. We are trying to help you with comparable options and most likely price point. If you are stuck on just those 3, number each one 1-3 and do a random number generator or toss a dart at the names. Each one of those has positives and negatives and different categories so your particular priority is what matters. I'll give up some life for good wet and dry grip with very low noise and comfortable ride for my highway cruises but those are my priorities. I also run full winter set so snow traction on my 3 season I could care less.

Choice 4 since you commented on first post. Sentury Touring all-season (ideal for commute). If you are happy with them why change?

My experience with defenders is about 5 yrs ago. But they were hard as a rock. I still think Michelins last for ever, but so many are enamored by the name, they overlook the shortcomings. I’d take a Continental over Michelin any day. Less money and hits all the marks.

I was warned that Sentury Touring isn't designed for highway on a hot pavement via I-40 or I-10 during the summer - budget tires. So... I was told that Falken ZE060 has a better summer compound and better heat stability on hot pavement.

Nokian One got my attention - in between Falken ZE960 and Defender 2.

I’m not that up on which ones might have a slight difference in tolerance for heat as you are looking for. I think all the touring and grand touring tires have most of the same heat related ratings. The biggest thing would be you making sure that cold tire inflation pressure is correct for your vehicle and hopefully monitored via TPMS. Some track tires and other performance have different compounds but that is for overall grip when hot for handling, many of them are not good for cold or even below like 50 degrees. The colder it gets the less they grip. I believe you are looking for basically a highway cruising. There may be some variance but the others that most listed should be more than capable for your plans. I might say that buying them from somewhere with coverage in the event of failure in your travel areas is important. Not so much from heat issues but from damage from potholes etc. so places like Costco, Discount Tire.

The Continental TrueContact Tour 54 may be a good choice for you also. It has $110 rebate through end of June. The $200 comes from and extra $90 with the card.

With the Nokian One and Discount Tire you get a 30 day satisfaction guarantee so If you don't like them on your trip you can exchange them. They also have aramid sidewalls for pothole protection and you can add extra road hazard that covers to 3/32" (but only 3 years).

Costco does 5 years road hazard and free install on the Defender 2.

Are you basically worried about how summer heat affects tires?
Maybe you should do a deep dive into tire grading. Your selection should be based somewhat on the grading of the tires.

List is old but each tire proudly, or less proudly, wears its UTQG rating on the sidewall.

If heat is the biggest concern stick to A rating. It also seems that H speed rating is not enough.
