Stp motor oil

AZ has given half of the shelf for STP oil and 3/4 of the space for the oil filters. They also took away the filter catalogs. When I asked about that, they said I now have to wait to have an employee look up the filter for me. When I gave him my car info, he immediately said do you want the STP 123 regular or the STP 123 premium oil filter. I told him I didn't want an STP filter. Thankfully they had about 6 sku's for Bosch and I went with the 3300.
This was last week and my last time in AZ. Making me wait behind someone buying brakes and rotors to ask for an oil filter is not consumer friendly.
Its all marketing and money,,,imho

No, they're not. I can find an SN 20w-50. I can't find a GF-5 20w-50. I can find an SN HDEO. I can't find one GF-5 rated.
 
STP seems to have a good additive package, but comes close to max in some areas. It's also a thicker oil. Their oil special for STP FS is not bad. $25 for FS and extended life oil filter is pretty good. The XL filter is actually well made.
