I'm looking at a space heater for my garage, and it was built for stove oil.I heard #1 furnace oil is being deleted,so can I use furnace oil and some deisel fuel modifier or something to help in the low temps..thanks

Subject: Jet Fuel

Back in the Korean War days when I was stationed in Northern Japan
(1952) on the Island of Hokido,
we lived in a Quonset hut with an oil stove.

We just used JP-4 -Jet fuel and that baby was A-OK, ichi bon (#1).
It would get a little red sometimes, but did it put out the heat.
I was told that JP-4 was highly refined kerosene. So I don't see why you should have any problem.
God Luck.
