Guys, we should be kind. We all obsess over trivial oil things, and some of us just have experience that glosses over our OCD. That being said, engineer20, as I already said, make it simple, easy, and cheap.
I don't do a lot of playing with cleaning additives of any sort unless I have nothing to lose (i.e. I plan on a rebuild anyhow, then I don't worry about solvent flushes or the like). I'm not even going to get into the Seafoam debate.
If you want to safely and effectively clean an engine, in my view, there are only two best practices. The first is to do short OCIs with a decent oil, be it an HDEO, a HM of some sort, or even any sensible yet cheap SN/GF-5 oil out there. I used HDEO and MaxLife 5w30 in my F-150 (depending on the season). This worked well, but be aware that there are limitations. Splash lubrication won't get everything clean, and a plugged oil gallery is a plugged oil gallery.
The second option is to disassemble and do manual cleaning. There is no product in a bottle that will beat this. However, this is far more labour intensive than any product in a bottle. Hence, products in bottles, even with dubious claims, are very popular.
Give yourself some time with some short OCIs and see how it goes, first. You won't have miracles in two OCIs though, I assure you.

Again, I, not trolling. I successfully got a smoke show from the camry but not on the taurus
All I wanted to know was if sea foaming incorrectly was bad and if I needed an oil change afterwards. After seafoaming, the camry runs like new and I'm highly satisfied and I want the same results from the taurus

I'm just asking, I heard the Bacon from Whole Food Market has better grease then bacon from Albertson's, I read it is closer to 10w/40 but I may need bacon grease closer to 5w20 in the Michigan winter, do you think I can get this at WinCo or should I stay with bacon from Albertson's. Is name brand bacon better than local bacon as far as the bacon grease and what filter should I use? Someone told me the red can AKA the Devil Can is the best one to use for bacon grease but I heard you have to sell you soul to get it.

But what about turkey bacon? Is it better or worse because it's low fat? Is it beneficial for a 3k? Is it suitable for a 5k oci? Is store brand as good as name brand? Should I step up to a filter with a silicone ADBV, or will the nitrile be OK?

Gotta be careful with the turkey bacon, as its lower fat content requires eating MUCH more of it for the same usable output. Also, the turkey stuff tends to have a higher NOACK number.
Lastly, too much of the turkey based stuff and your car will start to feel sluggish.
