Steering wheel vibration after brake job

The symptoms sound like a wheel out of balance. Is it possible that a wheel weight fell off, in the process of the wheels coming off, being put back on?
Did you have the wheels rotated when the brakes were done?

Tie rod ends, ball joints...could be coincidence to the other work, or the brake problems were masking the other issues.

+1 good chance the grease monkey slammed the lugs on and could be causing this. I would zip them off and torque them down correctly.

Maybe the "tech" went nuts trying to get a rotor off and screwed up a bearing. Raise it up and check but I would take it back. Doubtful it could be balance since it only happens when you go over bumps. Front end part(s) could do that too.

+2 could be as simple this. If not, there's a chance the stress of having the wheels dangling with the truck jacked up did in some suspension component already on its last leg. Have heard of this happening before.

Check ball joints, A frames. I had to replace mine on my truck. Ford, for some dang reason, decided NOT to put grease zerks in those joints and they finally wore out. Your Expy and my truck are all of the same generation.
Don't mention grease fittings. In the past, I have caught a lot of flack because I believe grease fitiings are a good thing.

I checked the lugs a few were loose compared to the rest but not very loose .
I did not rotate the wheels . I am going to take it in to have it checked . May be un related and just needs repair like KGMtech mentioned .

I took vehicle back in . They test drove it and inspected it .
This took about an hour . I was then told that they did not find any problem.
The steering wheel has not vibrated since they "checked" the vehicle .
I am not sure what was or was not done but it is smooth now . No vibration when driving on the same roads that I noticed the problem on hours before .
