I am thinking about buying a guardian natural gas standby generator. I can buy a 7000k unit without controller for just under $2000.00. Does anyone here have standby power?
Theory is that you could send the electricity back out to the line and the step/down transformer would step it back up to high voltage and electrocute a lineman.quote:

I have the same things. My normal heat is a propane stove and I have a 2 1/2 month supply of propane. Water isn't much of a problem since I have a well.quote:
