Bought a case of 16 oz. bottles to use in 2005 Dodge Cummins 5.9L. Started the first bottle yesterday when I filled up and had been using Howes Diesel Treat which according to Stanadyne ranks pretty low in testing.

Anybody have any experience using Stanadyne for diesel fuel? Benefits etc?

Not in a CR engine, but it is good stuff in a mechanical IP, really helped with my '02 VP44 Dodge Cummins w/hot hanging up of the injection pump until I got a new one. 2-stroke oil does the same thing for a lot less money, though!

In my findings Diesel Treat is a joke....Stanadyne product line along with Schaeffer's DT2000 is some good stuff.

Stanadyne is one of the few additives where I actually noticed a difference. Quieter, less lag, more "go".
