Doing an oil change tomorrow on my 03 Crown Vic P71 with 140k miles. Bought Supertech Synthetic 5w20 and a Motorcraft filter. I figured since the car sees 75% highway miles and isn't beat on too hard, it could go 10k miles before the next OCI. Just wanted to see if anyone had 2 cents to throw in. Have used Mobil1 for 10k before, last oil change was 5k Mobil 5000. Just trying to recoup from Christmas expenses lol.

I think there's a guy here that ran regular super tech for over 10,000 miles and the Uoa was fine...maybe dnewton?

On a Mod V8 that is easy on oil and driven on the highway, I wouldn't hesitate to do 10K

If it was new I would be nervous, but its an ex cop car that i'm sure has been rode hard and hung up wet. Runs good though...
No problemo on the Mod V8!
7500 leaves a little margin for error, in my opinion.
A friend of mine would routinely go 18,000 miles on ST Synthetic in his '95 Chrysler mini-van - but he added about 3 quarts along the way. The engine was quiet and smooth at 300k miles. Unfortunately the rest of the van was junk and he got tired of fixing it - so it's now waiting for the crusher. 10k on your Crown Vic should be no sweat, just keep it topped off.

Well I did the oil change. Going to go a solid 10k, add the exact same oil when needed and will do a UOA =)
