The predicated high for a week from Friday is 97. 106 down by the Colorado River in Bullhead City. Time to warm up the boat.
Spring is getting closer, but for now, we still have more snow on the way.
My son is in Missouri. Yesterday and Monday the high was 84. Right now it is 42 and 28 tonight. Coming up on Monday, high of 31, low of 16, then back to 80 next Thursday. There is a reason I do not live in Missouri.

Same for my area. This is the time of year where it can feel almost like summer one day (yesterday was 70 degrees) and then a few days later, snow (they are forecasting up to 20cm between Friday and Sunday). Next week is March Break and it’s looking like every day will be below 40
It was nearly 80 degrees here yesterday, and we had a monster tornado tear through just south of Kankakee, and went deep into Indiana. It was in a supercell that formed over Pontiac, IL and just kept going. 6 inch hailstone found near Kankakee.
Right now it is 36 and trying to snow/sleet.
This coming Monday night is to be around 10 degrees.

That tornado that went through Lake Village, Indiana was 25 miles south from where I live. I could swear around that time I can hear the rumble and roar of a storm, just like a freight train. Unfortunately an old friend from high school‘s parents got killed during that storm. Very sad.
Warmed up nice Long Island NY . Ordered my crabgrass prevention, ordered a new head for the echo string trimmer,washed the salt off the cars even puffed on a cigar in the garage
so true, and the itching and burning eyes.

Formations of geese are passing through the DC area now. The honking is nice in the evening when they spend the night down at the nearby park.

We had a strange occurrence with a flock of 50 Robins grouping in my neighbours yard. We happened to have a heavy snow and fortunately a small group of deer scraped the snow from below a crabapple tree and were eating the fruit that fell to the ground. The Robins flocked around the tree eating fruit amongst the deer. Later I read that Robins will flock and eat fruit if the ground is still frozen. They have since dispersed and are happy to eat bugs they are finding in piles of leaves.
I cleaned out two birdhouses the Mountain Swallows used as well as pulled out a Robins nest that the Mom Robin raised two broods with. They prefer to make new nests in the spring.

My beautiful redbud - kids watched me plant as an AS twig - was butchered by the fiber crews …
Our White Swans have come back as well as a few flocks of Canada Geese, released from captivity in Texas.
