Spoke to a lady who owns one. She likes the vehicle but thinks it should not have been called a Mustang.

As the owner of a 17 Mustang GT I didn’t like the name either, but from a business standpoint it has worked well for them and the goal of a business is to make money.
Right out if the gate the Mustang Mach E is said to be a higher quality EV than the Teslas.

Its a cool short for sure, I think it looks good too (once you get past the whole "mustang" thing)
Ive spent some time on the "mache forum" - awful site for logical discussion, but lots of picts and trip reports.
The car's been a gong show "Hecho in Mexico" just go check it out.
It has had every body problem tesla had and more problems electronically.
Setting aside the public charging network drama Its a usable car that rides nice and works pretty well.
Performance wise the Tesla beats it. The model 3 is far more efficient.
The model Y modestly so, but is a faster charging ride which shortens road trips
