Spectro 10w50 Platinum 4 MA2

I picked this oil up on sale and it’s the current fill in the KTM790 ADV as a winter oil. I likely won’t run it more than 1k miles due to starting as a thin 50wt already and this bike being a shared sump engine.

Add pack seems basic on paper, although Blackstone seems to rate light from my understanding. Base stock according to Spectro is predominantly Group IV PAO.

This is a Virgin sample with TBN. Rated JASO MA2, SN

Very basic additive package for a full synthetic, not impressive on that front.

Used Mobil 1 10w40 4T or 20W50 V Twin at 5000 miles from my analysis posted on BITOG has as much remaining ingredient (Ca and Mg) with tons more boron, moly, zinc and phosphorus with TBN's of 6.4 and 6.5 respectively, again after 5,000 miles.

Seems the Spectro would be a good winter oil like you said. With that said, I can't find a negative performance review or analysis despite a fairly premium price that is the same or more than above said M1 derivatives.
