I’m having to replace the connector on the crank sensor on my E60 550i—seems to have shorted due to a coolant leak at the back of the engine. That leak will be fixed soon but until then, was hoping to get away with using the existing terminals and slotting them into a new connector. Not having luck with that as one terminal basically came apart into two pieces.

Now I’m left with either splicing a new pigtail or crimping on a new terminal onto the existing wire. Would like to try crimping a new terminal but was curious if these tiny terminals need a special crimper.

Any advice how you all would proceed would be great.
