With the many upgrades to the GTI, the 93 octane tune and down pipe specifically it’s time to get the tune company recommended sparks plugs in there so it doesn’t cause problems.
Never heard of a non projected tip spark plug but here we are. Time to break out the torque wrench and get at it.

What kind of power are you making on the 93 tune to need those plugs? Even an R or base Macan with the E888 pushing 300+ HP uses a regular plug (Bosch 8516 or Bosch 8501).

What change interval 15 to 20k
My VW loved a steady diet of fresh plugs

They say 331 WHP but I haven’t upgraded the inter cooler yet. The regular plugs looked fine but just had about 500 pretty easy miles on them with the tune.

Yeah I’ll have to see how things go with longevity. The stock plugs looked pretty good at 16k miles and it being direct injection.
Seeing how HP has been increased a little over 90 hp they recommend a one step colder plug which seems to check out from everything I’ve read. While I don’t think non projected was really necessary the remote possibility of preventing a ground strap blowing off and grenading the engine won’t hurt either.

Sounds nice and like you are having/planning some good fun with it.
It has been fun. Honestly the biggest change has been lighter wheels and near slicks summer tires. Being a FWD car I can’t believe how it takes curves now. The stiffer rear sway bar from the factory on the Mk8 appears to make a good bit of difference.
