I regularly check the USGS local, and world maps of earthquakes.

It seems for the last 2 weeks, every time I look at the Map, there is a new 5.0 or greater right around Tonga or Fiji.
Within the last day there was another 6.1, within the last hour, another 5.0. There have been well over a dozen 5.0's within the last week, all within a 250 mile radius.
I wonder if this is just the plates relieving stress, or a sign that there is an incredible amount of stress waiting to snap, and radiate a large Tsunami around the pacific.
That many 5.0's is nothing to sneeze at. It is the most active region on the planet recently.
