Songs that you simply never liked? Or can't stand.

Will agree to disagree lol? Even if she can sing.. like, they say Lady Gaga can too. Still dont like.

Katy Perry actually has a decent singing voice, I don't like her songs though...
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Gogster either. Amy has a much better voice than either Gaga or Perry though, listen to this and you'll see why I have so much respect for her:

She absolutely nails it. Every note.

👍

I like it. It almost sounds like she has an accent?

Still not my cup of tea on the music, but my personal opinion on that aside, I can agree to disagree, and I can find some middle ground with you that there is talent! I've always liked good singers 😀

This song would be OK it it was two different songs.

Mashing them up doesn't work

I like quite a few Motley Crue songs, but probably the most notable:
- Kickstart my heart (bit of a classic, it was after Nikki OD'd and was technically dead, that scene is covered in "the dirt")
- Wild Side (just a great song)

I grew up listening to Metallica, G n' R and AC/DC, so I'm a fan. Back in black, Whole lotta Rosie, Thunderstruck, Who Made Who, For those about to rock...etc. Brian Johnson's voice may not be for everyone, but the Young brothers wrote some really good songs.

This is one of my favorites. Does it count? (Vince Neil)

Yeah, I am a sucker for a good singer, but I also like music where the singer may not be great but the music is good, hence liking AC/DC. That band always had "bad" singing, in fact it was part of what defined them. If you go back to pre-Johnson, when Bon Scott was the singer, he had that same weird whiney high pitched yowl. That's exactly what the band was looking for when he died and they needed a replacement, as it was part of their sound. That's why they brought in Johnson.

Speaking of real singers though, Axle Rose is definitely talented. When he stepped in for Johnson (he was going deaf, think he is deaf now) he was able to do an extremely good job of matching that AC/DC "style".

That's amusing, I like a great deal of post-black album Metallica, including this cover, Turn the Page, both the songs you mentioned along with Astronomy off the Garage Inc. album.

On Load, Reload and beyond:
- Ain't my Bi***
- The House Jack Built
- King Nothing
- Bleeding Me
- Wasting My Hate
- Thorn Within
- Until it sleeps
- Hero of the day
- The Outlaw Torn
- The Unforgiven III
- All Nightmare Long
- The Day that Never Comes
- St. Anger (even though it sounds like it was recorded in a sardine can)
- Fuel
- The Unforgiven II
- Where the wild things are
- Fixxxer

I'm sure there are a few more. I have Load on vinyl, original UK pressing, I think it's a really good album in its own right if your expectation isn't Hit the Lights and the Four Horsemen type of sound.
Guess I like a few of those songs, It seemed like they lost their way to me.....Just like Megadeth's Cryptic Writings album (I bet ole Dave wishes he could take that back?)
Kill 'Em All was kinda raw & was glad they refined their style.....And Justice For All is probably my favorite Metallica album.

I was always more of a Megadeth fan than a Metallica fan anyway, I bet most metalheads like one more than the other.

You just reminded me of MTV, circa 1993, where they would have weekends dedicated to the battling music videos of each.

I don't think I know a single Megadeth song and Metallica was kind of like the quintessential "Metal." "Acid Metal" was, and still is, way too hard and dark for me. Pantera, Sepultura, Trivium etc. Metallica was like harder than Guns N'Roses, which was considered "Hard Rock."

I liked the Hard Rock and again Metallica, they are good on certain days or in bursts.

Not sure Metallica would be who they were/are without Dave Mustaine who heavily influenced their sound & song writing. Dave formed Megadeth after getting kicked out of Metallica. I'd put Megadeth's Rust In Peace & Peace Sells, But Who's Buying? albums ahead of any Metallica album.

Pantera IS my favorite band, But their style isn't for everybody.

We had Karaoke night at the local bar and a guy "sang" Walk by Pantera. It wasn't good. While that kind of music is too angry for me it did show it takes some skill to "sing" that way. It sounds, to me, just like yelling but after hearing a guy at the bar perform it and being so horrible I went home and listened to the Pantera version that was much better vocals.

Ever heard Wormrot?

Call me stupid, but, can you maybe post up your favorite Megadeth song? I'm having a mental block, I cannot place a single song from them.

Temple Of The Dog? Yes. "Hungry." A one hit wonder. Sounds almost exactly like Pearl Jam.

But Megadeth, I do not remember ever hearing.
