Some people just don't get it....

I've recently read a few posts on this site that would qualify. I'm talking about stuff worse that "their/they're", and more of the "reframe/refrain" variety.

Some pet peeves from my military days.

1. Sirs. The plural of sir is gentlemen, not sirs.
2. Utilize. Do you really need to utilize utilize? Couldn't you use use?
3. Reoccurring. There really is no such word, the word is recurrent. (Apparently, reoccurring is in my spell check, but at least "back in the day" it wasn't a proper word.

We are measuring revolutions per minute,

I work for a company called Target Mobile. Sometimes we get RMAC transfers in and the package says "Target Mobil". I get a chuckle out of that.
