Wavin, you need to get a big ol' truck... that way' it's easier to change the oil and filter, and SEE the filter.

Of course, with a big ol' truck, you would also see gas stations a lot more, too.

Great photos. What type of bypass valve does the Baldwin filter have on it?

I had previously used this filter on my Torino, and I had valvetrain noise for half a second on a cold start. My last oil change I installed a Purolator Premium Plus filter, and I didn't have the valvetrain noise. I like the quality of the Baldwin filter, but I don't like the valvetrain noise I get with them.

The B2 and the B2-HPG both have threaded-end bypasses. The ADBV on both is nitrile, or it appears to be... it seems to be a quality piece. I haven't read about valvetrain noise with Baldwins before.
