Reporting back on how the lights did. I noticed the lights are good and strong into the evening again on a sunny day. They were pretty much lousy all winter. We are at 50 degrees N latitude, one degree north of the 49th parallel marking the US border. There is still room to make the solar panel on top the light larger to try get dawn to dusk capability during the winter. So basically they don’t have enough juice on the two months on either side of the winter solstice on Dec 21.The new batteries in post #18 have worked out well and I have a full dusk to dawn capability. I’ll see how they perform as the fall approaches and the nights get longer.![]()
