It got hazy and relatively cool as I drove home from early voting last evening, but the sky was full of high thin clouds, so we really couldn't see anything.
Years ago I lived near a big park in the suburbs, and my windows looked out across the park. We had a partial solar eclipse one morning at 10:00 or so. Everything got cool (well, sort of, it was June in Loozyana) and shadowy, and the birds stopped chirping. My big red cat freaked out. He would run from one window to the other, then back to the first one, and kept looking at me and squeaking. ("Hey, you're in charge of this stuff! Something's wrong! Fix it!")
