I would love to see the Civil War: Netherlands vs Germany...if they ever meet.

It's back to real life now... screw the World Cup.

which car are you buying based on world cup?

I said, "if Germany wins the World Cup, I will buy a VW GTI next year". If Germany doesn't win the world cup.. then I don't know.

Some really good games being set up.

Really bad referee performance today... I mean; come on, not counting a good goal and counting an off-side goal was too much for one day.

Really bad referees today.

They were Mexican immigrants...

Japan lost in Penalty shoot out but their actions after the lost was very classy, they made their country proud.

Quarter-final teams: 4 South America + 3 Europe + 1 Africa.
It's possible that all 4 Semi-final teams are South America, but it's likely these 4 teams will be in: Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Spain.

Quarter finals:
Uruguay vs Ghana
Brazil vs Netherlands
Argentina vs Germany
Spain vs Paraguay

Semi-final: Uruguay vs Brazil , Spain vs Argentina

Final: Brazil vs Argentina

Champion: Brazil

My prediction last Saturday for the Quarter-final is right on. Let see if the Semi-final games will have the 4 teams I think will be playing.

The Japanese team went to the Japanese spectators sections on opposite site of the stadium and bowed to the audience. They also shook hands and exchanged jerseys with Paraguay players. Their behaviors were much better than French and Italian players.

And they didn't whine and cry for the times they were tripped or shoved, like the several teams I've seen that get all dramatic from the smallest poke.

That's not really classy. Koreans and Japanese do that in every world cup game.

To me, it is. Their actions/behaviors after the match were much better than of the French and Italian.
