It is May 2nd and snow is covering the ground here on the NE side of the KC metro. Been snowing since 4PM, and is supposed to continue all night, and till about noon tomorrow. Only the 3rd time since records have been kept that it has snowed in May, and if it snows more than 1.7 inches it would be the largest May snow in history.

Is winter ever going to end. It was 83F a few days ago.

It's been nice and warm here in Sunny Florida

76 in Michigan, where are you at? It was that warm this morning but by the afternoon the wind picked up and ended up down around 40 or so.

In the years I have lived here where I do live in Colorado I have seen snow every month except for July and August. Not every year of course.

I remember many years ago a heavy snow storm in June. And I also remember several years ago a very light snow in late September. And a blizzard in October.

It snowed here on May 1st this year.

Was in Dillon, CO in mid Sept of 2010 and it snowed on us one evening returning from the casino nearby.

Went along with my wife who is attending a CME conference in Mayo Clinic and parts of Rochester, MN got 15 inches yesterday.

Wish I hadn't taken off the Blizzak DM-V1's for the Michelin M/S2s' because the M/S2s' are sliding all over the place.

My wife grew up in Wyoming. I asked her last night what was the latest snow she could remember. She replied when she graduated from High School, (in June), it snowed on graduation night. I would curl up and die if I lived in a place like that.

We've got a weather forecaster at a local TV station that has to be in his mid-60s and his worked for this particular TV station since 1981. The night that it was snowing, I heard him say that the last time we had snow in May, he was 7 years old. Last night we had a hard freeze and this morning my peach tree had lost all of the fruit and they were all lying on the ground.
Looks like it will be another interesting year.

The temp has dropped 20 degrees here this morning. It was 68 when I woke up but it's 48 now with rain. A cold rain!

It's rained so much here this spring? that farmers can't get their fields broke up to plant.
