Small filter on garden tractor=bad idea??

I enjoy the research as a hobby so thats not an issue. I could use the OEM filters.. they are just $$$. Only having to buy 1 filter for half the price sounds too slick.

Yea, I agree. The Kubota sight shows two different filters for this application. Why??

Ill have to recheck the WIX site. Was that filter for a diesel? I remember there were 2 sized filter spec'd for it.. the dealer gave me a large filter on year and a small one the next.. When i asked about it, the guy said as long as it doesnt leak, youre fine..

Also noticed the filters shown above were metric rather than the standard one that I found. Ill try what I have, but if that doesnt work, Ill stick with OEM Kubota and use the WIX on the Mule.

Ill let this thread sink to the bottom now.
