Are you asking if the Fram CORE with an ADBV is OK to use in a Skyactiv engine?....if so... I've used several Fram 6607's and even (oversized) 7317's without issues in our CX-30.

I have used Micro Gard Select (w/ ADBV) on both of my current Mazda's and numerous previously owned ones. Lately, I've been finding good deals for genuine Mazda Filters on-line.
For my friend's CX-5 I maintain.. I found it interesting that Mazda doesn't have the ADBV at all on their oil filters. I wondered if it's a flow issue or it's because the filter is already mounted vertically as to not need one.

That's basically what I read across the internet that by design the ADBV is not needed and there could be potential issues with the ADBV during a cold start either restricting flow or getting torn/ripped caused by the SkyActive higher compression.

We don't see ADBVs (even nitrile rubber ones) all torn up and ripped from doing cold starts in the dead of winter. If that happened it would happen on any oil filter. And if a positive displacement oil pump can't overcome a minor flow resistance of a rubber ADBV, then Subaru better hire some better design engineers, lol. Engine compression has nothing to do with the oil filter functionality.
