Sign waiver for transmission fluid change?

I did DIY. I did 3 drain and fills with last one doing the filter.
I'm not an auto transmission guy so I'm going to plead ignorance. But I thought the idea was to do one drain and fill so as to leave some old fluid in the transmission. Something about a bit of clutch debris in the fluid being a good thing.

Go elswhere. I would guess the waiver would be for if the fluid change didn't fix the problem or the shop didn't want the , you changed the oil and 2 months later the trans grenaded.

or just: since the oil change the downshifts are harsh.

You wouldn't believe how common unrelated complaints are after a mechanic touches a car.

That’s one reason why I decided not to be a mechanic. My Indy shop actually was not hesitant to do it, but just stared that it might not fix the issue

Missed this thread.

Waiver? No. And no, correct new fluid will NOT make an AT or CVT or MT FAIL. Failure may be imminent but........... really a shop is smart to make customers aware of this..........

I've only put about 150 miles on, but no issues so far :)
No more shuddering or hard shifts
