Pablo,

Do you run you CD player through the Wiim? How do you compare the quality of sound to lossless streaming? Also, did you see Fosi is developing their own turntable? Luna3
No. CD straight to pre-amp. I don't think much gained by low line digital to WiiM.

I saw a review of the Fosi turntable. Meh so far. I think if I get tired of this one, I will go up in $. But really no current complaints other than it's fully manual.

My Wiim came with an optical cable. Reviews seem to suggest that the Wiim DAC is significantly superior to the DAC in the CD players. My SMSL has not arrived yet, but will give it a try. Also, my vintage preamp has limited inputs so nice that I can route the CD player through the Wiim to the CD analog input.

Mine too (Optical cable included). I might try it! I researched the Yamaha and supposedly it has an excellent DAC.

Do you think they talk to strangers this way about you?

As a joke that has stemmed from husbands not listening to their wives, I'm sure they have. But I'll never know, never married/not interested in marriage.

I don't have a listening room. I use ear buds for when I'm outside, and some old Grado SR60 headphones for listening on my PC.
I have to be compact due to noise issues involving neighbors.

iFi Zen DAC V2 headphone amp, plugged into laptop. Main source is Spotify Premium.

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones.

When I want wall of sound, the headphones are folded open and the amp is turned up to 11 for that bluetooth speaker effect.

My listening room is a no go for visuals.

Love to see the setups from all those with capacity and the sickness.

I wasn't really either... then Jennifer and I started Dating after being work friends for 10 or so years... now three years later here I am with a Sparkly Ring in a box on my Desk, just waiting for the right time...
