Should we be scandalized about ETHANOL in our tank

Define "good enough"? Algae is a plant. Many strains are 50%+ oil by weight, and grow at an insane rate.

That leaves me out in the cold. All three of my cars, plus a few from friends and family, are older.

I suggest another cash and clunker stimulus for all vehicles 2000 and earlier. so we can drive the E15 cornjuice. $10k will be just right

Don't laugh, the way we are going I see a mandated car turn in program in the next ten years.

Of course they'll give us the option to keep our old pigs if we disable them and only keep them as museum pieces. Aren't we lucky to have somebody looking out for us?

It isn't good enough to be cheap fuel, is it?

You gotta be kidding me!

I don't intend to use E15 either.

I wouldn't say that it's silly. Properly aged in some nice casks it can be quite nice...

I think you will. E10 to E15 will not require the big infrastructure changes that E0 to E10 did. The change can be almost overnight with an immediate payout to the blender.

The problem with fossil fuels is that you need to place your order millions of years in advance which doesn't sound too efficient to me. It's nice to take delivery for what someone else ordered but it won't last long.

I keep hoping the ethanol market will implode and disappear but despite the pressure it continues.
