So who remembers ''XX more shopping days until Christmas'' when the stores weren't open Sundays or Thanksgiving Day? And you didn't see Christmas stuff the day after Labor Day?

Black Friday has had a bit of camraderie among the line-campers. Everyone has their story. It's about the only time strangers take the time to talk to each other in a shopping mall context. Bring booze in a dunkin donuts cup! J/K. Past years it's been 15'F and wind whips around the concrete buildings. It's a good life lesson that if you want something you have to suffer... the early bird gets the worm, etc.

As said above there isn't really a choice between a chinese and american tv anymore... so why not reduce the $$$ exported as a stopgap?

BF used to be the best time of year to get hand tools at Sears etc. Work hard and get something nice for yourself! I patiently waited 'till BF to buy my first copy of Windows XP, it came with a basically free computer. I provide the family IT and like the most bang for the buck. That 'puter is 6 years old in two days. I've changed the P/S, mobo, and added a hard drive to keep it maintained.

I am going this year namely to get some things for myself and the wife. I have a Brush Guard purchase for myself pending with someone so I'm not going to overboard. The Xterra and the Wife get my love, everyone else gets a lump of coal.
