shop manual for lexus sc400?

a friend of mine just bought a 92 sc 400 and cannot find a shop manual for it. I was wondering if anyone here knew where to find one? and if possible to find one online? he did find the factory one but it was $100 so it would be great to find the haynes or something online if its possible. TIA

Check owner's forums for info on where to buy a discounted factory service manual. Maybe a former owner has a used one for sale? It'll be worth it to get the factory one, not Haynes.

yeah thanks Tosh I think my friend is trying that but with no luck so far. I agree it would be better but we are trying to do some minor work on it like brakes and things so anything would help. It took us forever to find the oil filter and actually when we found it it was by mistake lol.

Also, if you check out www.clublexus.com or supraforums.com, there is a link somewhere to online manuals for every toyota car in the U.S. DIdn't have the car so I didn't worry about it
