Came across this Shell Spirax ATF. It says approved as an Allison TES 295 replacement. I also posted the listed approvals. Enjoy.

The jug is sitting on a shelf at my local Canadian Tire.I have an older car that specifies "Shell Spirax AX equivalent" ... Never seen one in store.
How old is your jug?
I see, thought it was in your garage. I should look for it in our stores. I've read good things about Shell Spirax gear oils ... iirc lasting up to 500K miles. The jug is sitting on a shelf at my local Canadian Tire.
Can't be any older than late 2015, because I don't think SOPUS started using those style jugs until late 2015 or early 2016I have an older car that specifies "Shell Spirax AX equivalent" ... Never seen one in store.

Don’t tempt me to try this in a Toyota T-IV application as well as a replacement for MaxLife and Red Line D6 for PSF.The "new"? Spirax S6 ATF is A668.
"Spirax S6 ATF A668 was developed to meet the extended
drain requirements of late model medium and heavy duty
Allison automatic transmissions. It is particularly suitable for
transmissions requiring a TES-668 type product and it is
backwards compatible with TES-295 approved fluids.
