Sgt. P Motor Oil...... The engine destroyer

Purchased at Niles MI but it doesn’t mention the store name. The API will be interested in the supposed ratings given.

Definitely used oil that was probably filtered through a t shirt or cheesecloth or something.

Another reason to stick to well known brands.

A few things on website that set off alarm bells if you look close enough:

"SGT.P Brands API (American Petrolium Institute) Certified Motor Oil for Gasoline Engines." Misspelled "Petroleum" and the API issues licenses, their oils are not "certified".

Dudes sell everything from personal protective equipment to soap and hand wipes, to rock salt and dog waste bags

So much for "it's gotta be serviceable if it has the seal on front and donut on back"

I wonder what this stuff looks and smells like as you pour it out of the bottle. I realize nobody with a lot of experience would buy this in the first place, but question if it is obviously bogus looking....like used drain oil?
