I have a boat with a 1974 Mercury inline 6 150hp 2 cycle outboard motor. The procedure for starting involves priming until fuel starts dripping out of the motor, and when running combustion is very incomplete. If someone tried to sell a new motor like this, the EPA would have a stroke.
Anyway, when I run the boat on the trailer I have to hook it up to the hose and I end up with an oily mess everywhere. This is ok in the gravel pit in my backyard, but not at the parking lot of my new workshop.
So, if I've got a large amount of water run off with oil contamination running down asphalt to a drain, how can I absorb the oil and let the water pass through? Is there some kind of oil containment "thing" I can buy?
