Any benefit of a second coat just after the first? Daughters car which I only have access to for a short time. I've used them all, and this is by far the best and easiest to use, won't show on black trim, etc. But is there any reason to use a second application now.................... it is so easy?

Two coats are always better than one where I come from. Simply put, its a lot harder to miss spots with two coats. Let the first coat cure overnight, a fast rewash in the AM in case of dust dirt etc. Re-apply for a better coat and longer lasting coat of the wax.

Two coats helps if only for missed areas that either weren't applied or weren't properly worked/let cure to bond to the paint, with waxes there's no such thing as "layering". The solvents in the wax will simply dissolve the wax currently on the paint, at best you're just increasing the concentration of wax on the surface but really on a properly prepped surface, clean and dry, a single thorough application or even better a machine applied coat of wax will have the same results.

Apply too much, and toweling off after subsequent washes can cause some wax streaking if it's too hot out, and/or with darker paints.

No biggie. Once it cools down and the wax re-hardens, you buff it back to normal.

A small inconvenience to pay for the extended protection and shine of a second coat.
