Seal conditioners?

normally seal conditioners or seal swell addtives are a after thought and most of the seal performance is due to ESTERs used in the oil.
If seal swell is an issue stick with an ester containing oil like Redline or Amsoil maybe others but someone else can add.

Good oils have a balanced package that includes the normal tests to be basically neutral to seals and avoid their drying.
If you start getting leaks you do a treatment like Auto RX

With 15w40 Delo now in my hi-mile beater 190E, it only leaks a drop or two when the engine gets real hot..esp in this Socal heat wave we are now in. But otherwise, nada...

I tried Maxlife 10w40 dino before and noticed that Delo performs better at stopping leaks.

As a plus, of all the heavy wt oils I've ran in this car..Delo gives the most oil pressure.

Fully agree with you on Delo400, I switched to it permanently when Mobil stopped marketing Delvac Super and instead they decided to sell Delvac MX here, I find Delo 400 not only outperforms Delvac MX, but it made both my engines quieter and mpg went up as well, so far I have covered 3000+ miles with Delo400, all hard driven and most of them in 40C+ weather conditions with highway, off road and stop and go, the dipstick still shows normal level, haven't' had to top up at all.

Used to be the same with Delvac Super but the MX is not the same product.
