(if smoked a bit and engine idled lower should i go fire it back up and did i so it right, or repeat with seafoam ?

and about the booster vacuum house, idk

I know that most people use either Seafoam or MMO(yes MMO) to decarb an engine, or lastly water injection. Seafoam is a safe bet as that is what its "meant" for.

I'm guessing you mean the throttle-body, yes, you're fine w/what your doing. But, I would scrub it down since you obviously want it cleaned, I notice a more responsive throttle after cleaning mine as it gets sticky w/carbon build-up. Just remove your air cleaner/filter box and have at it.
