I have 4 stroke and 2 stroke engines. I have always used Stabil in my gas for the lawn equipment, 3 of them are Echo 2 strokes and 1 is a Honda 4 stroke. However, I have noticed that my Echo blower has been getting harder and harder to start until it finally wouldn't start. Took it to repair shop and he said my "converter and muffler" were stopped up. He said to always use Seafoam and High Test Gas in my 2 Stroke engines. I want to know if both these products will work in my gas on 4 and 2 stroke engines and if they work the same? Do I need High Test? I only use Amsoil 2 cycle oil, although I must admit, I probably mix it higher than the 100:1. I'm probably around 50:1.

I just took the converter or screen out of mine before it would clog up and this is on a Stihl Blower. It's not like you have to take your equipment in for emission testing.
