Schaeffer 5w30 and 5w50 oil

The base oil of the 5W50 is a "Blend" of 50% PAO and the rest is heavy mineral oil.
I've thought about tryin Schaeffer's oils,and I know there's a Auto Machine shop that carries it in town.
Off hand though,how much is the stuff anyways?

I heard Schaeffers is a very good oil, but hard to find and the price isn't worth it. I would use Amsoil. Just my opinion.

how about this video on youtube of Schaeffer vs Mobil1
for some reason Mobil 1 oil film breaks while Schaeffer continues to spin? What does this mean in terms how would these oils perform in the car engine, for example valvetrain where you have similar metal to metal contact.

I am worried about using the 5w30 oil this summer on the track with possible 100F weather. I was thinking the 5w50 may be better, as it is kinda a race situation.
On the other hand, my car is my daily driver, and it sees -40F in the winter.

9001 5-50 is GIII and pao.
How long will the 156 be available for? I don't see it on your site anymore.
So far it works awesome in my 420 hp Subaru boxer engine.
I kinda want to keep using he 156 5w30 oil, as I am the only guy among the local Subaru enthusiasts that has oil that can be beat on, but doesn't have appreciable oil consumption, even after a couple of track days.

IMO there is no need for a 50 weight oil, even in this heat. Use a 30 or 40-tops!
