Saw “REAGAN” yesterday

Good Morning folks. Went to AMC theater with recliners to see “REAGAN” movie. Very well done, love Randy Quaids acting. Would definitely see it again. Came out at a great time with what’s going on as well.

Interesting, without getting political, he was the first person I voted for in my life for potus, meaning when I was old enough. Thanks for the info, last movie I saw in a theater, was Super Mario Bros

Or maybe they could have done a documentary on the 1988 Spiro Agnew campaign or Rumsfeld's campaign back in '92?

Haven’t seen the movie yet but I assume it’s about the person. I mean if there’s a movie about Carter I’d watch it. Imho there are folks like him who did a lot (good) after he was potus. I’m just saying those two didn’t become potus and maybe that’s why no movie. I remember my dad voted for Mondale.

I saw it. Magnificient biopic and important history lesson. The denouement is a real tear-jerker.

Saw it Labor Day. It's a good movie and very moving. If you lived through the Reagan years, it will bring back many memories. I think they could have emphasized the Iran hostages more. It was barely mentioned. To me, that was a very important aspect of Ronald Reagan's election to POTUS.

Seriously, though, 37.5 million votes is no slouch, but Reagan was unstoppable in 1984.

I liked it cause AMC theaters have those leather recliners for seats. And being a military veteran; ticket was only $8.10

Wasn't Spiro Agnew forced to resign as VP in the early 1970s? Income tax evasion or some such. He was replaced by Gerald Ford.

I thought he (Agnew) died not too many years later.
