If that wing was removeable I wouldn't mind having one.

This is Riccardo Patrese, (he used to drive Formula 1 for Ferrari), giving his wife a fit, while pushing an older Type R Civic around Jerez in Spain. Funny as hell.
I could tolerate that far better than the 1st version I recall seeing about 5 yrs ago in my area... was just like this and that was just ridiculously overdone if you ask me.

1st gen was horrible looking. I walked by it inside the local Honda dealer and couldn't believe the pathetic tack-on video game childness.
Glad that it's looks matured and should be a ton of fun. Won't bother watching the video. Did go straight to Honda's website and built one for just usa$52k. Gotta wait and see what the forum MPG average is... would make a great powertrain for the Accord and AWD CRV. Oh well, don't care for the Civic and Honda won't listen to me.
Fun FWD 4 door cars: Omni GLH(S), Mazda 323GT, Dodge Neon SRT.... and now Civic Type R's
More power is better right? and can definitely make you say "oh $#!}" and start those butterflies in stomach feeling.

Understood., but Honda fans will spend the big $$$ to get this car.
To me the new Civic looks like an Audi A4.
I like this car, has a more tame look compared to the boy racer previous gen.
