where I'm at now.....found some really good people at shopjimmy.com they sent me some schematics to look over. Replaced the X board, but didn't fix it. Can return it to them if I found out later my board was still good. I'm now waiting for a new power board. It has sound and I can view pictures on a thumb drive through the USB port, but they only last about two minutes and then the unit shuts down and starts rebooting itself again. They sold me a board for 25 dollars, the X board was about 74. If the power board was the culprit, which is very common regardless of the capacitor issues, I can ship the X back...so I'm out 25 plus return postage and a restocking fee at about 15 dollars. I can live with that...but i like I said....if the power board is the problem. Need to find some real small fans that I can somehow aim up to the bottom vents and run off the USB port.

Probably could have tried that, but honestly, I'm just burned out trying to fix that thing and just want a working TV. Got a 42 inch Vizio LED. Picture is not bad, and this thing doesn't put out hardly any heat at all. Yeah, i may could have saved a few bucks, but then again....the usb port pictures would only stay up for about 2 minutes, then the TV would start shutting itself off, and then fire back up. I thought the power board was the culprit. Was not.
