Tomorrow morning I'm taking my '02 Sable in to the shop for a change of oil and ATF.
I have a Schaeffer's sample kit for a sample of my ATF to go into.
How exactly should I instruct my mechanic to sample the ATF?
I know how to catch motor oil as you drain the pan, but there's no plug on my Sable's transmission. I doubt this shop has an oil sampling gun handy.
If anyone cares, I'm having the filter changed out and having her refilled with Mercon V.
