Here is a bottle of Supertech Lawn Mower oil that is SAE 30 and is SN plus. Enjoy.

Is there anything special that makes it special for lawnmowers? Or is it just a modernized SAE30?
I went to two stores to buy up ST HD30 and its SN plus … it’s gone now - but 3 months later I’m seeing this ?
Seems if you don’t want to compete with your own 10w30 … just go behind the curtain and change outfits 👀

It should be perfectly fine to use. Personally I prefer a 15w40 over a monograde oil, but there shouldn't be any issues running it.

I think it is labeled that way because SAE 30 is mostly used for lawn and rider mowers these days. Nothing special to it.

The one John Deere mower I've used said you could use 10w30 or SAE 30. I'm not sure if it matters which one you use. Just follow what the manual says. It's a lawn mower engine, how picky could it be?
