Those are not genuine Honda oil filters and aren't even marked as such. They are labeled genuine Rusticship oil filters that fits Honda.
RUSTicship......really? I wouldnt use them just on principal with a name like that.
OEM hondas are not that much more expensive (3x for 21 vs 5X for 27) and you know what you got. so for $1.7/filter you change every 6 months maybe you would put a filter from a company called RUSTicship? The sleep anxiety would be way more expensive than the dollars saved.
From the looks of it you could put on a OCOD which now has a silicon anti backflow valve and be good at $4 each. maybe even step out to a tough guard. looks like thats who honda is using.

I say read the reviews, it is likely that you'll find your answer there.
If you do order them, please cut one open. I'll bet you 5 real Honda (A01 or HAMP) filters they aren't ROKI (under any of their names) filters.

Yeah guys are finding knockoff filtechs (which were pretty good) on amazon.
Why bother at all when you can get a much better filter for just a few bones more?
I just run an XG7317 Fram Ultra (and a filtermag) and don't worry about it.
Get a case of 6 and you are good for 120K.

Just look at the first picture, I've got around 30 ROKI (AKA/FKA Filtech, Toyo Roki) filters and not a single one of them has ripples in the can or such a poorly stamped diamond with dots as shown in the listing. Read the listing carefully they never say they are genuine A01's, they'd like you to think that, but they never say it.

Very professional spelling there... it is almost as bad as mine when I'm not trying... and of course it has their companies logo on it "for legal reasons", because putting Honda's logo on it would have an excellent chance of getting them sued since they aren't Honda filters, though they seem to have gone to lengths to make you think they are.

I don't get why people will try and save money in that manner. It's false economy. It's like buying rotten meat that saves you 10 cents a pound.
And also, out of principle, companies like Rusticship deserve to die from lack of sales.

I'd buy the Nippon made A02's before those unknown pieces of excrement. NipponDenso makes a quality filter to the correct specs, who knows what those are made of or by what type of interpretation they meet any of the OE specs.

I agree, I've got half a mind to buy some, cut one open and post a review. I bet they don't look like A01's internally. If I could buy just one it would already be on the way. The picture they are using of the dissections is commonly found online.
You can buy A02s for exactly the same price and Real A01's for close to the same price by carefully shopping.

Yep, they copied the Honda parts label in an attempt to make these look like Honda parts. They are creating the impression that it is a Honda part, its deceptive. I'm surprised they are getting away with it.

I never used one or bought one. I just saw it on amazon.. Just figured I would ask.. I mostly use FULL and HAMP or Honda Filtech A01. I really like the FULL Oil filter with the M pleate style.. I was very impressed and I get them at advance for like 3$
