Hey Guys,

I have rusted bolt in suspension that I need to remove ...
Its a bit rounded .. should I use Star looking socket or regular 5 wall socket ?

I sprayed this stuff with WD-40, Relase... FreezOff by Rustcheck ... itd ... I'm using electric torque wrench

Electric impact wrench you mean? I believe all impact sockets are six sided, not 12. Get a proper set of impact sockets and use the right one. You might have to do some work with a wire brush or file if its really rounded or tap on the socket with a hammer. If you actually are using a torque wrench, don't, they aren't for breaking stuff loose.

sorry yes ... I'm using Electric Impact wrench and yest they are six :) but I have some regular 12 1/2 sockets too ..

My Impact Wrench 6 walls sockets are Mastercraft Maximum ( Black in Color )

I bet we have the same set, use the impact sockets for sure, I don't think normal sockets last long on an impact wrench. I have the mastercraft electric impact gun and it had no trouble with the strut bolts onto the steering knuckle/hub on my old neon.

got it out :) Blue Metal Case ?
And Yes I have The Big Electric Mastercraft impact ...

6 point socket for sure.
Use no extension cords if possible.
IF you have to, use a short one or a heavy duty one.
They suck a lot of power from tools like this.

Mine has a plastic case, its only a couple years old. Glad to hear you got the bolt out, even these electric impact wrenches make some jobs so much easier.
