I pop the top off and there is a big air cavity where no grease was pushed up to replace what I was pumping out.
Does that happen in all weather or just the extreme cold?
I use Valvoline Durablend in a $50 Alemite grease gun and have no problems.
I couldn't get it to work at all when it was down in the 30s, now that it's in the 70s it will work, but I have to repack the grease about 3 times greasing my truck. About every 20 pumps roughly.
